The Vulva collection originated as a series of ceramic sculptures to celebrate the beauty, equality and social justice that women deserve and strive for. This aesthetic and meaning is now captured in jewellery with the Vulva ring.

With this project we aim to extrapolate from the artistic realm into the realm of intervention. The vulvas carry in them a symbolic cry for freedom, an invitation for a broader societal examination and a reflection on how the gaze of judgement is constantly objectifying and categorising of the woman's body.

As with all of the Vulva collection, a percentage of any profits generated are used to support associated causes and charities. With each ring 10% of profit goes to Save the Children who are working to prevent female genital mutilation by empowering children, women and communities in several countries.
